Noches de Dibujo is an evening drawing session held monthly at Campo, Nosara with a casual atmosphere where you'll leave your cares behind and enjoy creating in a judgment-free space. Invite your friends, meet cool people, enjoy a drink and unleash your inner-artist.
During the 2023-2024 high season in Nosara, I launched a workshop series that has quickly become one of my favorite projects: Noches de Dibujo. Held at Campo once a month, this sip and draw event is a space where creativity meets community, offering participants the chance to unwind, sketch, and share ideas in a relaxed, inspiring environment.
Each Noches de Dibujo is guided by a carefully prepared theme, designed to spark creativity, imagination, and artistic practice. I lead participants through a series of exercises that explore the theme, providing a structure to get ideas flowing while still leaving plenty of room for personal expression. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about embracing the process, experimenting, and enjoying the freedom to create.
What I love most about Noches de Dibujo is how it blends the worlds of art and relaxation. Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who's picking up a pen for the first time in years, the event welcomes everyone. There’s something special about drawing alongside others, especially in such a vibrant, open atmosphere. The energy shifts as conversations flow and sketches take form, creating a space that feels alive with creativity.
Each session is unique, shaped by the people who come, the theme we explore, and the mood of the evening. Some nights are lively, filled with laughter and bold ideas, while others are more introspective, with quieter moments of focus. But no matter the mood, there’s always this sense of shared discovery and connection.
As we move through the seasons, I'm excited to see how Noches de Dibujo evolves. It's been a joy to see people come together, make new friends, and rediscover the joy of drawing in such a laid-back, welcoming environment. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I hope you'll join us for an evening of art, conversation, and inspiration.
